i am always trying to write haikus, and i never can. but you can! i like it.
yeah, this is the first haiku i've read in a while that didn't strike me as absurd. congratulations, it was good.
but it's not 5-7-5. ???
it's an american haiku, riles. according to jack kerouac, who credited himself with inventing the genre, american haikus don't need to follow the numbers. his don't. i have a book of them.
ohhhh k
actually, this haiku goes 7-5-7. i decided to go backwards.
your logic would make more sense if the last line wasn't six syllables long
p.s. although that line contained two significant facts about My Life, you chuckling was neither rude nor sacrilegious, so no worries!
